Manufacturers

Manufacturers in AssetIT allow users to manage and track manufacturer information for assets, licenses, components, and consumables. This feature helps maintain a centralized record of manufacturer details, ensuring better procurement and asset lifecycle management.

Creating a new manufacturer

There are two ways to create manufacturers:

• One by one — Click + Manufacturer, fill in the details, and click Submit.

• Bulk import — From the + Manufacturer dropdown, select Import Manufacturers to import multiple manufacturers at once.

Editing and deleting manufacturers

Edit a manufacturer

In the Actions column, click the Edit button to modify a manufacturer's details.

Delete a single manufacturer

In the Actions column, click More Options, then select Delete.

Delete in bulk

1. Select the manufacturers you want to delete.

2. From the Bulk Action menu, click Delete.

3. You are taken to the Confirm Bulk Delete Manufacturers page.

4. Review the manufacturers that will be deleted, then click Delete.

Note: Items that are in use will be automatically disabled and cannot be deleted.

Exporting manufacturers

• Manufacturers can be exported for record-keeping or data migration.

• Click the export button to download the data in CSV or PDF format.
