Progressive loading

Overview

TeamBoard ProScheduler now features Progressive Loading for the Gantt and Timeline boards, designed to improve performance and provide a smoother user experience when handling large-scale projects. With this feature, large projects with thousands of issues will load faster, and interactions remain uninterrupted.

How Progressive Loading works

Instead of loading all issues at once, the Gantt and Timeline views now:

• Automatically load the first 3000 issues initially.

• Display only relevant issues based on the applied filters.

If your project contains more than 3000 issues, the "Load More" button will be available, allowing you to fetch additional issues in batches of 3000. This process can be repeated until all issues are loaded, ensuring a better user experience with minimal waiting times.

How to use Progressive Loading

1. Open the Gantt/Timeline board:

• Navigate to your project in TeamBoard ProScheduler and select the Gantt or Timeline board.

• If your project contains more than 3000 issues, you will see a heads-up message notifying you of the large project size.

2. Initial load:

• The system will automatically load the first 3000 issues from your project. But only the issues that match the filters you’ve applied will be displayed.

3. Load additional issues:

• To view more issues, click the "Load More" button, which appears at the top or bottom of the Gantt/Timeline.

• Click "Load More" to load the next batch of 3000 issues.

• Repeat this process as needed until all issues are loaded (optional).
