Progressive Loading Feature

Overview

TeamBoard ProScheduler has introduced a progressive loading feature for the Gantt and Timeline views to enhance performance and improve user experience in large-scale projects. This feature ensures faster loading times and uninterrupted interaction, even with projects containing thousands of issues.

New approach with progressive loading

Instead of loading all issues at once, the Gantt and Timeline now load the first 3000 issues and only display relevant issues based on the filters.

If your project has more than 3000 issues, the “Load More” button will be available, and you can use it to fetch additional issues in batches of 3000. This process can be repeated until all issues are loaded, just batch-by-batch loading for better speed.

How does progressive loading work?

  1. Open the Gantt /Timeline View:

    • Navigate to your project in TeamBoard ProScheduler and select the Gantt or Timeline view.

    • A heads-up message will appear to let you know that your project has more than 3000 issues.

  1. Initial Load:

    • The system automatically loads the first 3000 issues in the project, but only the issues match the filters will be displayed.

  1. Load Additional Issues:

    • If you need to view more issues, locate the Load More button, which is available at the top or bottom of the Gantt /Timeline.

    • Click Load More to load the next 3000 issues.

    • Repeat this process as needed until all issues are loaded. (Optional)
