Resource Rate

A Resource Rate is the hourly cost assigned to one specific person. It’s often used to reflect their salary or billing rate per hour.

Creating a Resource Rate

1. Navigate to ⚙️  Settings from the left sidebar > Select Rate and Cost section.

2. Choose the Resource Rate tab

3. Select the member you want to assign the rate to > Click

4. In the form, fill in the following details:

• Set the date range the rate should apply to (this time range can’t overlap if the resource has multiple rates).

• Check/uncheck the option for Use system rate unit if you want to:

✅ Use system rate unit:

Select a rate from the Rate unit dropdown to assign to this member; else, select to create a new Rate Unit.

⬜ Don’t use system rate unit:

• Enter the rate manually in Rate per Hour.

• Select a Currency from the dropdown.

5. Click to save the Resource Rate.

Editing a Resource Rate

To edit an existing Resource Rate, follow these steps:

1. On the Resource Rate page, locate the rate you want to edit and click on it.

2. In the pop-up window, make the necessary changes to the fields:

• Date Range: Adjust the start and end dates (ensure no overlap with existing rates).

• Rate unit: Modify the rate unit.

3. Click to apply your changes.

Deleting a Resource Rate

To delete a resource rate, follow these steps:

1. On the Resource Rate page, find the rate you want to delete.

2. Click at the end of the row.

3. Confirm the deletion when prompted.
