Field settings
Field admin settings allow you to fine-tune how your story map and roadmap interact with Jira fields, providing better alignment and data consistency across your workflow.
Available Options:
Use Jira rank
Enable this setting to synchronize the order of issues in your story map with Jira’s native ranking. When active, your story map will reflect the same issue order as your Jira backlog or Agile board, allowing for seamless prioritization and drag-and-drop ranking.
Map story points with Jira fields
Map story points on story cards using your custom Jira field for enhanced customization and accurate tracking on the story map.
Epic story point
Control how story points are displayed and managed for Epics:
Hide: Do not show Epic story points.
Show: Manually set and adjust the story point value for each Epic.
Total story point of children: Automatically sum the story points of all child Stories under the Epic, providing a quick overview of effort estimation.

Start date - End date
When enabled, a dropdown menu appears where you can select which Jira date fields (such as Start date and End date) to map to your roadmap tasks.
Make sure the selected date fields are configured for each issue type in your Jira project. If an issue type is missing a date field, a red “X” icon will alert you.
To plan tasks on the roadmap, ensure these fields are included in the Issue Screen configuration for each relevant issue type.
Migrate
After finishing the setup, click the Migrate button to transfer existing roadmap planning data from ProductGo’s internal storage to Jira fields.
Review the pop-up notes carefully and confirm before overwriting any data.
