Generic Resources
Flexible Planning with Generic Resources
In TeamBoard TimePlanner, Generic Resources serve as versatile placeholders—representing either non-physical entities (like virtual team members or unassigned roles) or physical assets (such as equipment or tools). They’re a powerful way to enhance planning and adaptability.
Here’s how they help managers streamline projects:
Optimize workflows by scheduling tasks without impacting real-time workload data.
Enable early-stage planning with the flexibility to assign tasks before finalizing team members.
Maintain project momentum by avoiding interruptions when resources change or become unavailable.
Support agility through quick task reassignment as needs evolve.
Generic Resources are your go-to tool for keeping projects moving smoothly—no matter what stage you’re in.
Scope
Generic Resources are designed with a global scope, making them shareable and usable across multiple teams. This ensures greater flexibility, promotes collaboration, and allows for more efficient planning and resource allocation throughout your organization.
