To sort any column and view the data in ascending or descending order, you can:

  • Choose the 🔼 to sort ascending.

2.4 Filter Test Plans

To quickly identify a specific test plan, you can:

  • Provide Jira Key ID or the Test Plan Summary to find the exact test plan.

  • Apply Filters to narrow down the list

AgileTest supports you in filtering test plans by:

  • Status: your Jira status of the test plan ticket (TODO; IN PROGRESS;DONE).

  • Assignee: your team members assigned to test plans.

  • Reporter: your team members created test plans.

  • Priority: the test plan priority (HIGHEST; HIGH;MEDIUM; LOWEST; LOW).

  • Start date: the planned start date of the test plans.

  • End date: the planned end date of the test plans.

  • Or switch to JQL and enter your custom search.

2.5 Clone Test Plan

You can duplicate a test plan to create a new test plan that includes the same test cases as the original. To do this, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the test plan you want to make a clone of. Click on the “3 dot.png” icon in the Action column.

  2. Select the “Clone” option.

The cloned test plan inherits only the linked test cases from the original test plan. It does not carry over any execution results.

2.6 Delete Test Plan

To delete a test plan, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to the test plan you want to delete. Click on the “3 dot.png” icon in the Action column.

  2. Select the “Delete” option.

When you delete a test plan:

  • All associated test cases are preserved and remain available for use in other test plans.

  • All test executions are preserved along with their execution status and can still be accessed from the Test Executions section.
