We’re excited to introduce the latest version of TeamBoard TimePlanner with new reporting templates, enhanced event scheduling, and customizable UI settings to improve how teams plan, track, and manage their time.

New features

1. New Report Templates

New templates for General, Scheduled Time, and Logged Time reports provide clearer views of time usage.

• General Report
  Offers a summary view of team worklogs and overall resource usage. Helpful for reviewing how time is distributed across the team.

• Scheduled Time Report
  Displays how planned time for tasks and events is assigned to team members and resources over a selected time range.

• Logged Time Report
  Shows how actual time was logged on tasks and events by users across projects and teams, making it easier to track and analyze time spent.

2. Grouping by Custom Fields

You can now organize report data into structured sections based on a selected custom field, such as project, assignee, priority, or any other relevant field. This makes reports easier to read and analyze, especially when reviewing large data sets.

3. Event Scheduling

You can now create events directly in the schedule. These events are included in workload calculations, alongside tasks and logged time.

This ensures that all planned activities – meetings, time off, or other non-task events – are accounted for when reviewing team capacity or planning assignments.

4. UI preferences

TeamBoard TimePlanner allows users to customize their interface through UI Preferences. These settings can be applied globally for the entire organization or personally for individual users, providing flexibility to suit different needs.

Improvements

• Admins can approve/reject leave and timesheets on behalf of approvers.

• Reports now include "Original Estimate" and "Time Remaining" columns.

Bug Fixes

• Resolved issue preventing users from submitting leave requests for others while submitting their own timesheet.

• Fixed bug allowing users to set themselves as the default approver, even when the setting is disabled.

• Addressed the issue where users without the proper permissions could still comment in Timesheets.

• Various other minor bug fixes.
