Sharing Reports

The “Share” function in TimePlanner Reports enables users to easily distribute private reports with teammates and stakeholders, perfect for keeping collaborators informed without making the report public.

  • Sharing is only available for private reports.

  • You can grant access to specific users who already have access to the system or the relevant project.

  • Users with shared access can only view the report, but they cannot modify or delete it.

How to Share a Report

Option 1: From the Report List

  • Go to the Reports list.

  • Find the private report you want to share (look for the 🔒 Private label under the "Access" column).

  • In the Share with dialog:

    • Select users from the dropdown list.

    • Or start typing a user's name.

  • Once you've added all intended users, click on the Save button to make the changes.

Option 2: From Within the Report

  • Open the specific private report you want to share.

  • Click the Share button at the top-right corner of the report view.

  • Use the dropdown to add users.

  • Click Share to confirm.
