The Dashboard and Reports features help you review PlanCore performance from both a quick overview and detailed analysis perspective.
Dashboard
Use the Dashboard to monitor key metrics such as workload, capacity, logged hours, utilization, availability, and time off. Dashboard widgets let you focus on yourself, selected members, a team, or the whole organization, and you can customize the layout by adding, moving, resizing, refreshing, exporting, or removing widgets.
Open it from the left-hand navigation menu by selecting Dashboard. Use the resource filter and time period selector to control which data appears across supported widgets.
Reports
Use Reports when you need a deeper view of planned work, logged time, capacity, utilization, and financial performance. Reports are useful for comparing scheduled time with actual logged time, reviewing workload balance, analyzing time by project or member, and tracking billable work, cost, billing, and margin.
PlanCore supports General, Scheduled Time, Logged Time, and Cost reports. Saved reports can be accessed from the report list through tabs such as All reports, My reports, and Shared with me.
How they work together
Use the Dashboard for a fast, visual health check, then open Reports when you need to investigate details, compare plan versus actual results, or prepare recurring updates for stakeholders.
