New Features

1. Generic Resources

Introduced generic resource support for enhanced planning flexibility.

These resources can represent non-physical entities (e.g., virtual resources) or physical assets (e.g., equipment), enabling project managers to streamline workflow and plan tasks seamlessly within teams.

Here’s how Generic Resources can help optimize your team’s workflow:

Virtual resources can serve as placeholders for tasks during the early stages of a project until actual team members are identified.
When a team member becomes unavailable, their tasks can be temporarily reassigned to a virtual resource.
Tracking the booked time of physical assets utilized by the team. (e.g., equipment, external systems).

2. New Planning Details Modal

The enhanced Planning Details functionality within the right-hand panel provides a more streamlined and intuitive way for users to manage task details, including:

General Panel: Easily view and edit task details, summaries, colors, and more.
Plan Detail Panel: Adjust plans, set up recurring tasks, convert tasks into milestones, and add new plans.
Note Panel: Review notes and comment directly on tasks to boost team communication.
History Panel: Keep track of task history with a clear record of all changes.

Import Jira Group to Project or Program Resource

The new release simplifies team management by allowing you to import entire Jira groups directly into a project or program resource.

By importing groups, teams can be onboarded more efficiently, and permissions can be standardized across all group members.

Improvements

Export Excel files now include the WBS number.
Restricted users from turning off Jira worklog sync.
Improved the bulk selection UI on the Schedule Board.
Time format aligns with Jira settings in Timeline/Gantt.
Last member filter settings saved on the Schedule Board.
Worklog and timelog now auto-fetch to support accurate Gantt progress calculations.

Bug Fix

Fixed time-off card display issues.
Fixed task sorting order issues.
Fixed “Open in a New Tab” issue for programs.
Fixed missing days in exported hierarchy reports.
Fixed disappearing child issues on the Gantt chart.
Fixed incorrect progress bar values when synced with Jira time spent.
