Planning tasks

In TeamBoard ProScheduler, a task refers to a Jira work item (Epics, Stories, Tasks, and Bugs) that needs to be completed within a project. Tasks can be created in Jira or directly in the app, assigned to team members, and given start and end dates to help organize work and track progress.

Task planning includes the following steps:

  • Assign the task: Choose the appropriate team member responsible for completing the task.

  • Set start and end dates: Define when the task will begin and when it should be completed.

  • Specify work hours: Set the number of hours per day the team member will dedicate to the task.

This process ensures tasks are organized, team members are clear on their responsibilities, and the project stays on track.
