Billing Rates

Only App Admins or Billing Admins have permission to set up Rates & Costs in the system. To grant these permissions, please visit here.

To set up the Rate unit & Cost, the administrator has to access the Billing Rate functionality in TimePlanner.

This feature allows the admin to establish rates and budgets for individual resources or groups, as well as for single projects or project groups.

Under Cost choose Billable, Rate Type can be selected from 5 options

• Resource rate: Applied to an individual resource.

• Resource group rate: Applied to a group of resources.

• Project rate: Applied to a single project.

• Project group rate: Applied for a group of projects

• Custom rate: A custom rate defined only for the task
