Attach to story maps

You can link personas directly to your story maps and portfolio boards, helping your team keep user needs visible throughout planning and development.

To attach personas:

1️⃣ Turn on the Show personas option in the board’s User settings

2️⃣ Find the persona icon above each Goal and click it.

3️⃣ Select one or more personas from the dropdown list to link them to that Goal.

Each Goal can have multiple personas attached, making it easy to represent different user types for specific objectives.

Once attached, personas appear above the Goal, so everyone can see which users each part of your story map is designed for.

This integration helps teams stay focused on real user needs as they prioritize work, plan releases, and track progress across both story maps and portfolio boards.
