Roadmap components
A ProductGo roadmap is built from four main components: Task List, Timeline, Milestones, and Dependencies. Together, these elements give you a structured, visual overview of your project’s progress and plans.

Task List
The task list displays all the work items included in your roadmap—such as goals, epics, stories, and subtasks. This list helps you track what needs to be done and ensures nothing falls through the cracks.
Timeline
The timeline provides a visual schedule for your project, mapping tasks and releases over time. You can see when work is planned, track deadlines, and adjust schedules as priorities change.
Milestones
Milestones mark key dates or achievements in your roadmap. Use them to highlight important events, delivery targets, or decision points, so your team and stakeholders stay aligned on what matters most.
Dependencies
Dependencies show the relationships between tasks, helping you identify which items need to be completed before others can begin. Visualizing dependencies makes it easier to manage risks, avoid bottlenecks, and keep your project moving smoothly.
How They Work Together
The task list organizes your work, the timeline lays out when everything happens, milestones keep your team focused on critical goals, and dependencies ensure your plan is realistic and achievable. This structure helps you communicate progress, coordinate work, and adapt as your project evolves.
