History

The History tab provides a record of all import runs executed through Asset Importer. It allows administrators to review when imports were performed, how they were triggered, and the overall results of each run.

This section is useful for auditing, troubleshooting, and validating past import activities.

Import History Overview

When you open the History tab, a list of past import runs is displayed. Each row represents a single import session.

The following information is shown for each import run:

Name: The integration source used for the import (for example, Microsoft Intune).
Trigger Type: Indicates how the import was initiated. MANUAL means the import was started manually by a user.
Created At: The date and time when the import run was executed.
Total Records: The total number of assets processed during that import run.
Actions: Provides access to additional details for the selected import run.

Viewing Import Run Details

To view detailed results for a specific import run:

In the History tab, click the import run you want to review. The detailed view displays a summary of the selected import session, including:

Run ID: A unique identifier for the import run.
Execution Time: When the import was performed.
Result Breakdown: A summary of how assets were handled during the import, such as:
- Number of assets created
- Number of assets updated
- Number of assets cloned
- Number of assets that failed to import
