3.0.0-AC
We are delighted to announce that Routemap for Jira has taken one more step forward in the Forge migration. The app is now qualified for Step 2.
Along with this new update, Routemap’s current users are advised to update the app to its latest version for better support.
Why move to Forge?
By building on Forge, Atlassian takes care of the infrastructure through its serverless platform. This allows us at DevSamurai to focus on managing ConfluPlan’s risks effectively while ensuring compliance with security, privacy, and transparency standards.
For more information, please visit the Atlassian Developer’s note on the Forge platform.
What changes in this version?
While Routemap for Jira has successfully adopted the Forge migration step 2, there are some minor changes to the app. Here are some of them:
The URL links to the app and Routemap’s boards will be changed
The URL links of Routemap’s Idea Portal are now different.
What to expect in the upcoming updates?
We are planning to continue with the migration and implement Forge Step 3. Once the migration is complete, here is the expected change:
All existing public portals - from the Ideas portal feature - will become deprecated and inaccessible (while they remain in place in Step 2).
We advise our users to plan and create new public portal links to replace the old existing ones.
We apologize for the inconvenience. We understand this might cause some trouble in your workflow and operation.
