New Features

1) AI Generator with New Capabilities

Generate more relevant test cases by choosing the test type, setting the number of test cases and steps, selecting the output language, giving feedback to AI, and linking existing test cases as examples

3. New AI Generator.jpg

2) Xray Migration

You can now migrate Xray for Jira testing data into AgileTest with a simple flow: download your data, import it into AgileTest, and map it before migration. This also makes it easier to restore and back up your testing data when needed.

The Phase 1 migration covers:

  • Test Items: Requirements, Test Cases, and Test Plans.

  • Structure: Existing Milestones and Folder hierarchies.

  • Global Configurations: Test Types, Test Environments, and Test Step Fields.

  • Execution History

A few capabilities are not yet supported and will be added over time: Attachments (Phase 2 - Next sprint), Document Generator, Parameterize Test, BDD steps, and linked issues from cross-projects.

4. Xray Migration.jpg

3) Clone Execution

Duplicate test executions instantly within the Jira view. The system replicates descriptions, attachments, and linked work items, automatically connecting the cloned execution to the parent record in your backlog.

5. Clone Executions (1).jpg

Improvements

1) Bulk Create Cucumber Test Cases via REST API

Accelerate automation pipelines by programmatically bulk-creating Gherkin Test Cases using our expanded REST API.

2) Shareable URLs for Requirement Groups

Requirement groups (All, Un-grouped, and Excluded) now feature unique, copyable browser URLs, making it easier to share specific views with stakeholders.

3) Self-Hosted GitLab Integration

We now support self-managed environments. Connect self-hosted GitLab instances to AgileTest by entering your custom GitLab base URL during setup.
