What's New in AssetIT version 2.22.0-AC

We’ve added new features and improvements to make managing your assets easier, more secure, and more flexible. Here’s what’s new in this release:

Update Asset Status from Jira

You can now update the status of assets directly in the Linked Assets panel inside Jira work items. This saves time by keeping asset management and issue tracking in one place.

More Insights in Asset Models

The Asset Model list now includes Total Assets and Available Assets columns, giving you a clearer picture of how each model is being used.

Accessory Tracking Made Simple

On the Asset Detail screen, you’ll now see the number of Accessories checked out to that asset, making it easier to track related resources.

Export User History

Need a record of user activity? You can now export a user’s history for reporting or auditing purposes.

More Data in Asset Lists

The Asset list now includes a Model No. column, so you can quickly identify hardware models at a glance.

New Permissions for Resource Management

We’ve added Restore permission for Licenses, Accessories, Components, and Consumables, giving admins finer control over data recovery.

Improved Checkout Emails

Emails for bulk checkout and pre-defined kit checkout now include a detailed list of assets, so users know exactly what’s being assigned.

Smarter Custody Verification

Filters on the Custody Verification page are now saved automatically, so you won’t have to reset them every time.

Expanded Language Support

AssetIT now supports Brazilian Portuguese, making the platform more accessible for teams in Brazil.

Stronger Security in API Credentials

The clientSecret field in API credentials is now hidden, keeping sensitive data safer.
