Create Test Plan
There are 2 approaches to creating test plans:
1. Create Test Plans in the Test Plans section
To create Test Plans in the Test Plans section, follow these steps:
On the left-hand side menu bar, navigate to the Classic Test section → Choose Test Plans.
Click on the “+ Test Plan” button.

Fill in the test plan details. Click on the “Create” button to finish.
Summary: Enter a short and clear name that describes the purpose of the test plan (for example, release name, sprint, or testing scope).
Description (Optional): Provide additional details about the test plan, such as testing objectives, scope, execution strategy, or any notes for the testing team.

How to Create Multiple Test Plans Without Repeating the Process
Follow the same steps used to create the first test plan. In the 3rd step, select “Create another” instead of clicking “Create”.
This keeps the dialog open after the test plan is created, allowing you to continue creating and editing additional test plans without reopening the dialog each time.

After the new test plan is created, select the Test Plan start & end dates.

2. Create Test Plans in the Test Cases section
This approach helps you in two ways:
Convenient creation flow: Enables QA teams to create test plans while managing test cases, integrating test planning naturally into their workflow.
Reduced setup effort: Automatically includes the selected test cases in the test plan, reducing manual effort to add test cases.
