Requirement and Defects

The Requirements and Defects widget is useful when QA teams need to understand how defects evolve in relation to requirements over time in your current project. This widget visualizes the trend of created requirements and reported defects across the selected time range, helping teams see whether new requirements are introducing additional defects or if defect volume is decreasing as testing stabilizes. This widget helps you to:

• Analyze quality trends over time: Compare the number of created requirements and reported defects across different months or sprints.

• Evaluate requirement stability: Identify whether newly added requirements are correlated with an increase in defects.

• Monitor product maturity: Observe if defect volume decreases over time as requirements become clearer and testing stabilizes.

2. Configurations

With this widget, you can:

• Rename the widget to match your reporting purpose.

• Select a month range (UTC) to define the reporting period and analyze trends over time.
